Stacey Rinnert

Stacey Rinnert, PMP, PMI-ACP

Director

Stacey serves as the Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and Chief of Staff for the Chief Financial Officer and Vice Provost for Finance. She is responsible for working with the CFO/Vice Provost to brainstorm, identify, and triage university challenges that can utilize the expertise and resources of the EPMO team, enabling university leaders to be more proactive in their responses to institutional change. Stacey has worked at KU since 2011. She is a certified project manager (PMP and PMI-ACP) and has worked in television production, advertising, software development, and higher education. Stacey has a bachelors degree from KU. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in project management from KU.

Amanda Aveyard-Elo

Amanda Aveyard-Elo

Assistant Director, Process Improvement & Business Analysis

For the past eight years, Amanda has been leading teams through eliciting and finalizing requirements for business improvement, software development and vendor IT projects at KU. She has experience with multiple areas across KU, including identity management, curriculum management, academic catalog and undergraduate certificates. Before joining KU, Amanda worked as a business analyst/project manager in the telecommunications, consulting and banking industries. Amanda is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Caitlyn Sierra, PMP, CMP

Assistant Director, Project Management

Caitlyn joined the Enterprise Project Management Office in 2019. She is responsible for day-to-day operational management of the project management team including project management processes, tools, and activities. Before coming to KU, she worked in the private sector for seven years as a project manager for government contracts and director of operations for a contracting firm. Caitlyn has extensive experience supporting large teams and ensuring project success in accordance with PMI.

Sara Crangle

Process Analyst

Sara began working at KU in 2012 in areas of Research Administration, Compliance, and Shared Services. Prior to coming to KU, Sara worked for governmental and quasi-governmental agencies with emphases on community/economic development, public health, and general fiscal management of projects large and small. Sara joined the Enterprise Project Management Office in 2019. She enjoys project and process management, as they not only provide opportunities to learn, but to contribute to meaningful and valuable solutions.

Carol Hedrick

Carol Hedrick

Business Analyst

Carol has worked at KU since 1987, starting as a Programmer for the Billing Receivables System on the mainframe then moving up through other programming positions, ending with Senior Programmer/Technical Lead for the student billing module within the Enroll and Pay system. She has been a Business Analyst for more than ten years and has extensive experience with student related systems and projects, leading teams through elicitation of project and vendor evaluation requirements. She also has a bachelor’s degree from KU and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Cara Nossaman, CMP

Project Manager

Cara began working as a Project Manager at KU in 2013. Prior to KU, she worked for 10 years in the private sector as an Implementation Manager, Business/Systems Analyst and Software Trainer at various software and consulting firms. Her goal as a Project Manager is to improve the job or academic experience for faculty, staff and students by implementing effective, sustainable solutions and process changes in a timely matter.

Suzi Ortiz

Suzi Ortiz, MBA

Program Manager

As a project manager with KU's Enterprise Project Management Office since 2015, Suzi has managed an array of project types, including IT infrastructure, data integration and automation, vendor software implementations and, most recently, process improvement projects. Prior to joining KU she was a telecommunication projects coordinator and network analyst with Ericsson, and a Marine Corps operations and exercise planner. Suzi earned an MBA at Baker University. She is KITO PMM certified and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mary Rochelle

Business Analyst

Mary has extensive business analyst experience with state and private sector organizations, including process analysis, requirements documentation, fit/gap analysis and coordination between functional and technical teams. She also has worked as a functional analyst providing daily maintenance and support for enterprise systems.

Sarah Vanderpool, MBA

Project Manager

Sarah began working for KU in late 2019.  Prior to that she worked for the State of Kansas at multiple agencies, the majority with the Department of Education.  Sarah earned an MBA from Friends University and is KITO PMM certified.  She is also a Major in the United States Army Reserve and has served since 2000.
